Bringing your client list over from a spreadsheet

Your clients are already somewhere: a spreadsheet, a notebook, a phone. Here's how to bring them into Fidelect without creating duplicates.

The Fidelect team

Starting with Fidelect doesn't mean starting from zero. If your clients live in a spreadsheet today, you can bring them over in a few minutes.

Prepare the file

  • One client per row.
  • Columns for the name, phone and email; add language, tags or notes if you have them.
  • Phone numbers with their country code are best, like +212 6 12 34 56 78.

Import, then check

Upload the file from Clients and match each column to its field. Before anything is saved, Fidelect shows how many clients are ready, and flags possible duplicates for you to check. Clients you already have are left as they are.

What happens to messages

Importing a client doesn't sign them up for offers. They'll receive updates about their own bookings and orders, and offers only once they say yes themselves. That keeps your list clean and your messages welcome.

Then let new clients join on their own

From then on, clients join by scanning your join poster at the counter, and their file starts on its own.

Got clients in several branches? Import once; each client keeps their visits branch by branch.

Try it with your own business.

Create your business, choose your business type and see it with your own services, team and hours.
