A loyalty programme only works if a client can explain it back to you. If it takes a leaflet, it's too complicated. The good news: the simplest programmes are also the ones that run themselves.
Start with how points are earned
Pick one rule: a number of points for every amount spent. On Fidelect it reads like "1 point for every MAD 10.00 paid", counted after refunds. Points are added when the visit or order is paid, so nobody has to stamp or scan anything.
Add a welcome bonus for a first paid visit if you want new members to feel the programme straight away, and choose when unused points expire. Clients are reminded before they do.
Offer one reward worth coming back for
A free service, a dish, or money off the next bill. Give it a clear name and a photo or icon: "Free eyebrow threading" is easier to want than "Reward 2". You can add more later; one good reward is enough to start.
Let clients join at the counter
- Print your join poster and put it where people pay.
- Clients scan it, and their card appears in the Fidelect app with their points.
- They can add the card to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, where it updates itself after each visit.
Keep the rules steady
You can change the rules at any time, and new rules apply to what clients pay from that day on. Points already earned stay as they are, so nobody loses what they were promised.
A good test: ask a member of your team to explain the programme in one sentence. If they can, your clients will too.
